Welcome to Verve's November 2014 Spotlight Hops!

Verve Holiday Spotlight Hops

Welcome back to Day 2 of Verve's November 2014 Spotlight Hops!  The Verve Divas and special guests are back for another day of spotlighting the new holiday release! Everything previewed this week will be available in the Verve online store on Thursday, 11/20. So come hop along with us and see what's new at Verve!

If you've come from Amber's wonderful blog, you're in the right place. If you just happened upon the hop, you can check the hop list below to get caught up.

Today's spotlight is shining on the Pinecone Christmas set illustrated by Chaitali Narla and the coordinating Poinsettia Pinecones Die Set.  For my card today, I sponged the top of my card with Tea Dye and then stamped a couple of branches and a sentiment from Joyous Noel.

Verve, pinecone christmas, Christmas, card, Diana Nguyen

Before I added the snowflakes using embossing paste, I masked off where the branches and sentiments were so that I would not have too many snowflakes on top of my image.

Want to win some shiny new Verve? We'll be picking a random commenter on one of the hop spots below to win today's featured products! So be sure to leave a little comment on all the blogs below to increase your chances! Check out the Verve Blog today for a little more about our new products and all the prize info and deadlines!

  2. So pretty with a rustic flair! Great idea to mask off where your focal image is going before adding the embossing paste. I love pine cones and pine needles...growing up in Florida we were surrounded by them!
