My Cup Overflows

It's been an exceptionally wet and dreary May - perfect for playing in the craft room.  Today the ODBD challenge team has some inspiration for you in case you haven't had a chance to play along with this month's ODBD April Showers Bring May Flowers Challenge.  My flowers are a bit more subtle - it's in the beautiful paper from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection.  

I also added a vellum butterfly and some foliage underneath a popped up doily.

I didn't know where to add my sentiment so I put it on the inside of the card with some scrap sheets of designer paper.

You are my cup of tea

When I drew up this tea cup, I did not even have paper piecing in mind and now that is all I seem to be able to do with these cups!  I had fun using all the patterned paper though - I normally stick to solids simply because it's easier.

ODBD May Release

Welcome to the ODBD May Release!  And I cannot express how thrilled I am with this release - it's a dream come true thanks to ODBD.  This is my very first stamp set that I designed - woohoo!  I hope you like it!  I've always enjoyed calligraphy and it's so exciting to see my writing on these stamps.

My Soul Thirsts

For my teacups, I did some paper piecing with the Boho Paper Collection and framed my verse with the new Pierced Rectangles and Lavish Layers out of black card stock.
