Zentangle plus Word Art

Quick post today sharing some Zentangles I did over the summer.  I decided to add a Scripture to one of my compass drawings.  I just thought Psalm 3:8 was suitable with a compass image!

Here's a couple more where I made really good use of my compass! : )

Thanks for looking!  Since the first one contains a Scripture, I'm linking it to this week's Word Art Wednesday Challenge.

Having Fun with a Compass, Ruler, and a black pen

It's summer (still!) and instead of playing by myself in my craft room, I've been armed with my sketchbook, a compass, ruler, and a black pen while I have my boys home all day.  I've decided to name each sketch what I was doing while I was tangling.  :)  Enjoy a peak into my very exciting life.

This one is my favorite Zentangle so far.

Thanks so much for looking!  Truly, discovering Zentangle has been wonderful for my sanity.  Hope you try it too!

P.S. I do hope to figure out how to take better pictures of the pages in my sketchbook soon so apologies for the poor photography.

Zentangle

With the kids out of school, I haven't had much time to play in my craft room.  But Zentangle is something that I can do anywhere for any amount of time from 30 seconds to an hour... while I listen to the kids practice piano or make sure they are cleaning! But be careful, it can be addictive!

As fun as it is, I would like to do something with them than just keep them into a sketchbook.  So I cut up the first one into 4 (conveniently cutting out that part I messed up on because that is ALL I could see whenever I looked at it) and made them into notecards.  The pages in my sketchbook were not pure white so I used ivory cardstock which is a bit darker than I would like.  *sigh*

So should I cut up the rest of my Zentangles?
