Romans 6:23

This week's ODBD Shining the Light challenge is my favorite kind:  a sketch! I turned the sketch sideways and left the front panel plain white to highlight one of the most amazing and powerful verses in the Bible (there are lots but this one just grows more incredible the more I thought about it this week.)  It's one of those verses you learn very early on but grows in meaning, don't you think?

  1. What a gorgeous take on the sketch Diana!! I just love your red and black combo which I think is very symbolic to go with the verse. I think of black for sin and red for Jesus blood. Beautiful use of dies and paper to frame this very comforting and powerful verse!!
    hugs,
    Chris

I love the rich colors of the papers with the beautiful die edge and how you've added the cross for special emphasis with the verse! Another beautiful inspiration, sweet friend! Hugs!

  5. A gorgeous card Diana. Love the textural Look of this card and the colors are spot on. The addition of the cross gives extra meaning to the sentiment.
The WORD is the living word. It grows and adds meaning each and every time it is read.
