Quietfire Die-ing for Spring Blog Hop

Hello!  Welcome to Quietfire's Die-ing for Spring Blog Hop!  I hope you've been enjoying the hop so far.  Aren't the new dies amazing?  I love it that I can now take Suzanne's beautiful lettering to a literally whole new level!  :)

I started off with a watercolor panel made with the Twinkling H2O's Thankful set.  I think I'm in love with just how vibrant and shimmery this watercolor is.  I then die-cut the Thanks die twice - once on white cardstock and again on black fun foam.  Yes - it cuts through foam and the foam is not squished flat.  



I love to stack my die-cuts but I love the this new way too- it's a lot faster and when I used the black foam, it gives the die-cut a great shadow effect.  I added some dew drops and a Thanks Cuddler and my card is done.

    I love this card the water color background is stunning! I like the way you used black foam to back the word Thanks, I will have to try this on some of my dies for cards. You did a great job!

    This background is just stunning! I haven't touched my Twinks in forever and now I need to find them and start using them again! I love the die cut on the black foam. Really makes it pop!

    WOW - the black foam layer makes your DELIGHTFUL diecut "Thanks" POP - will definitely have to try it, same goes for Twinkling H2O's!!!

    LOVE, LOVE the card!!! Something like this is always nice to have extra's when needed!! Love the vibrant watercolors and the dew drops! The Thanks die font is beautiful, and the Cuddlers are a perfect set for this lovely die!!

    Really liked the contrast of 1/2 the card in color and 1/2 white...the contrast makes the colors pop! The shadow die cut also makes the Thanks pop. One of the best cards that I've ever seen. Kudos to your creativity!
