I got some wonderful goodies from MFT in the mail Saturday and I HAD to ink it up immediately. And then I just drew a blank as to what I wanted to do next... Still excited though! So I looked up what the card challenges were for this week at MFT Card Challenge and this what I came up with.
I combined the colors with the sketch challenge. I had just gotten the adorable Cross-Stitched Rectangle STAX so I changed the sketch to be rectangular instead of square but kept the center focal point and frame. I colored this little Super Boy with the soft cool colors and the teal... had no idea what to do with the Wild Wisteria so then I added a bit of shadow to him. It worked out way better that I thought it would! Just don't look too closely at my Copic coloring - I really need to practice more.
To make it a little more interesting, I made it into a shaker card because I had also just gotten this star shaped confetti by Recollections. I made a night background by inking up some Distress Inks - Salty Ocean, Shaded Lilac, and Seedless Preserves.
Thank you so much for looking and I hope you had a great weekend.
