Is anything more peaceful than snowing falling at night? I just love snow - at least when it's nice and fresh - not so much after the plow comes through and makes it nasty brown sludge. But I digress - love snow as it's falling.
To make my background, I clear embossed the snowflakes from the sets Let It Snow Snowman and Illuminations 2 - Christmas then sponged in distress inks Chipped Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon, and Blueprint Sketch. I then flicked some perfect pearls mixed with water for smaller droplets.
For my Peace, I die cut it twice - once in white and once in dark blue so that it would pop up against the background.
I had an extra large droplet from my flicking so I decided to add some vellum and small snowflakes dies from Impression Obsession to cover it up.
Here's hoping we have some snow but not too much! Last year we had 36 inches and nowhere to put all the snow.
