ODBD September Mid-month Release

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's September mid-month release.  There are so things going on at ODBD that they can't wait until October to show - and there will be even more stuff in October!  This mid-month release includes some beautiful florals as some new dies you're just going to love.

Here I used the  ODBD Flourished Star Pattern, the Leafy Edged BordersOvals and Stitched Ovals to frame my sentiment and columbines from the Grateful set.  I love columbines - love it that they are perennial and come back every year and just how striking and different their blooms are.

On my second card, I colored them with colored pencils, fussy cut them out to frame my quote.  I also fussy cut out the center flowers and popped them up.  If you've ever seen columbine in real life, you'd notice that the center blooms stick way out - like trumpets almost. Again, they are really cool and striking flowers.

  1. Diana, The curved border mimicking antique lace is so beautiful. The sentiment is something we should say to start and finish our days. Those fussy cut flowers are lovely. Thank you so much for taking time to post your very creative art with us this week at Word Art Wednesday in our 200th Celebration Week’ challenge!
    Blessings and Hugs, Carole

  3. I especially love your first card, it's so classy in its simplicity, I think I actually prefer cards this way than with an overabundance of embellisments/dies. Beautiful!
