ODBDSLC196 Have Fun with ODBD

To celebrate ODBD 6th Anniversary, the last challenge this month was to use ODBD stamps.  One of the great things about ODBD stamps is that there are some great themes so it's very easy to use more than one stamp set on a card. One of my favorite ODBD stamp is the lighthouse (and the chickadee, and the butterflies, and all the Scriptures...) so I started there. I went with a nautical theme and am casing this stunning card by DT member Cathy McCauley.  I loved her sunset and ombre banner.

I'm still on my embossed and sponged background so I used the fishing net background with some colors that I thought would look like water. I also added some gold gel pen to the rays of light from the lighthouse and stardust to the cloud outlines.  The main panel is popped up as well as the banner so there's more dimension in real life.  Thank you so much for looking!

  4. Diana,
The main image can give an illusion of looking through a telescope from a sailing vessel to admire the beautiful sunset. Thank you for joining us this week at Word Art Wednesday. Blessings, Carole
