The challenge this week at ODBD Shining the Light Challenge is to create a card or project that includes an image with water, uses a technique with water, or use primarily aqua. I immediately reached for my The Mighty Sea set and started sponging away. Then I added some white gel pen along with some blue and aqua metallic pens. The ocean was just shimmery and exactly the way I wanted - and then I proceeded to cover most of it with my verse embossed on vellum! Oh, well! I really do love the look of vellum on it and the card looks bare but it did looks a lot better in real life with all the metallic pen touches. Thanks for looking and hope you get a chance to play along!
Recipe:
Stamps: ODBD The Mighty Sea
Ink: SU Summer Sun, Not Quite Navy, and Tim Holtz Broken China
Paper: Vellum, SU! Island Indigo, Recollection White
Accessories: Mosaic tiles, white embossing powder, Gelly Roll pens

Beautiful Diana! Gorgeous colouring / sponging of the image and the vellum panel is a really great idea! I love how you can still see through the panel to the image underneath yet it mutes it enough to bring out your beautifully embossed words. Gorgeous!
