ODBDSLC226: Birthday Shaker Card

This week's Shining the Light Challenge is a sketch challenge - one of favorite kinds!  I love word die cuts so I was very excited about ODBD's Happy Birthday Dies.  I cut the words out twice - once in red and another in blue.  I then glued them together, slightly off-setting them for a shadow effect.  I then made a shaker element using Spellbinders Matting Basics A for my window.  The paper inside the shaker is from ODBD's Patriotic Collection and that is where I got my color inspiration from.  I used a white gel pen to give my balloon and letters a bit of a glare effect.  Hope you like it and that you can play this week!

    This is beautiful Diana!! I love the red, white and blue and how the paper looks like a reflection in the rectangular frame. Such a creative and fun take on the sketch!! The shaker design is perfect!!!
