This week's Shining the Light Challenge is no coloring. For some reason my mind translated that into no coloring and even after I realized that I could use colors, I was already stuck in a black and white frame! I chose to highlight the last part of the verse here from Scripture Collection 13 using a music paper for my background. To frame my verse, I matted it in black and added dies from Gilded Gate Dies to the sides. I also added a folded bit of satin black ribbon to the back. It's always fun (and frugal!) to use dies in new ways.
And please check out my other CT sisters for more wonderful inspiration:

OMGoodness, what a FANTASTIC idea to use your gates in that way! It took me a few seconds to realize what it was, I was wondering what die that was and where can I get it (LOL!), love the originality of their use and your black and white is so lovely! So striking really! Love the music and that verse is another favorite. He is my strength and my shield!! What else could we need? Beautiful my dear sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteI just love your creativity, Diana!! So clever to put the gate at a different angle to make a more intricate die to set off the scripture and design!! The black and white is so classy!! Beautiful verse!! Gorgeous work yet again my friend!!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Chris
