ODBDSLC229: Pastel Color

Hello!  I am settling into my shabby chic mode more often- total opposite of my CAS style.  And the new papers from ODBD Shabby Rose is just gorgeous and just begs for flowers and laces.  The hardest part is covering any of it up.  For the pastel color challenge this week, I cut out my base layer with the large pierced die from ODBD Flourished Star Pattern.  I also added a border from Beautiful Borders and Doily.  My floral spray above the doily is a cluster of Fancy Foliage and some Wild Orchid Flowers.  To be able to still see the pretty paper, I embossed in white my verse from Scripture Collection 9 on vellum.  Finally I added a little sprinkling of pearls.

  4. Diane, lovely card. I really like the white sentiment against the floral background. Vellum can add so much and give more options, but I forget about it when I'm creating!
