I just got the Altnew Spring Daisiyas was all set to color it in bright vivid colors and ended up with an autumn/sunflower theme. Oh, well! This happens more than I like - practice practice practice and maybe I'll get better at color selection.
Since the flowers ended up being more orange than I wanted, i went with a brown background and thanks (Altenew Thanks die). I toned it down a bit by adding a vellum panel.
Though it did not turn out like what I wanted, I kept going and ended up with a card I liked anyway! So don't give up on your coloring - just keep going!
